Activity 3 - Create Publish Multimedia Using Blog

 What is Multimedia?

         Multimedia has many definitions on the internet these days, but in general, it is a collection of one or more media such as text, graphics, drawings, and images, as well as audio, video, and animations.                                         Interactive applications will be created when all of these resources are combined. Multimedia's most important feature is interactivity. It is the ability of a user to interact with a specific application. Multimedia allows content to be presented in a nonlinear manner, allowing the reader to participate rather than be passive. The user decides what content should be delivered, when it should be delivered, and how it should be delivered. 

      Infact I've used some social media platforms in the past. I can be able to share the things that I made using Multimedia. I can use Multimedia to share the things I've created.

How to use multimedia?

         Multimedia includes, texts, graphics, videos, audio, and animation. The process of using these is by inserting images or videos in your blogs just like what I am doing right now while making this blog. I am communicating with readers using multimedia. I will give you an example of a situation wherein you will use multimedia. Say for example, you are tasked to report a topic in your class and your teacher says "be creative in reporting". The first thing that will come to your mind is pictures, graphics, videos, audios, colors, and a lot more. In order for you to meet the teacher's standards of reporting you need to use multimedia. Adding animations to your report,  adding videos that relates to your topic for your classmates to understand the lesson further, and adding pictures for visualization increases the drive of your classmates to listen to you thus enhances their learning capabilities. That is why multimedia is very effective to use in communication of information as it gives a clearer understanding of the information being passed.

 MY UNDERSTANDING ABOUT MULTIMEDIA

      It is anything that we watch and listen to in a form of text, graphics, animation, and many more. It is an interactive media that provides multiple ways to represent information to a user in a powerful manner. We can use multimedia in many areas such as in our business, school, home, public place or even in virtual reality. 

Significance of using multimedia

People today rely heavily on multimedia, so it plays an important role in society. Multimedia has made it easier to communicate. Students often feel bored in a classroom setting when the teacher is the only one talking about the lesson, but with multimedia, the class comes to life. This is because multimedia has an impact on students' desire to learn. Students can focus more by looking at the pictures, graphics, animations, or videos that have been added to the lesson or message you want to convey. This situation is applicable not only in a school setting, but in any setting..
