Moral Values from the short story - Sinigang
by Marie Aubrey J.Villaceran
Moral Values that I got from this story are;
1.Everyone makes mistakes because we are all imperfect but that’s not an excuse because we have a choice not to do it.Yes, we are not perfect, and we make mistakes, but we have to be responsible for the things we did because we chose to do it.
2.Ask for forgiveness, make amends for them, and try not to make the same mistake again.We need to ask forgiveness from the people who were hurt because of what we did, make up for them, and make sure it will not happen again.
3.Forgive others and move forward. Forgiving others is not because they deserved forgiveness, but because you deserve to be free from the pain they’ve caused you, for you to move forward and be happy.
4.You also need to forgive yourself. It takes courage to forgive yourself, put the past behind you, and move on.
5.Be faithful to your partner.If we love someone and we tied the knot with them, make sure to make him/her for the rest of your lives together. Don’t ever think of hurting someone that loves and cares for you just because you want to have fun and fulfill your desires.
6.Be strong and overcome the challenges that will come your way.
Impact of this story to me as a 21st century learner.
The impact of the story to me as a 21st century learner is that it made me realize that no one is perfect that cannot make mistakes to you or to me. So I must learn how to forgive like how God forgive me to all of my sins. I also realized that Family is not just an important things , it's everything.
